Sparkles Christmas: More than One Fold

Hi, everyone! It's the first of the month... which means it's time for a new Sparkles Christmas challenge!

This month's theme was chosen by Jane, and is a such a clever idea. Jane's challenge is to use more than one fold.

I was inspired to resurrect a clever semi-circle fold that I CASE-ed a few years ago from an Operation Write Home tutorial.

stash white cardstock; Distress Ink peeled paint cardstock
tree: Echo Park Christmas this and that dp; stash red dp
Stampin' Up! good greetings sentiment; heat embossed with Versamark and Recollections gold powder
gold accents: heat embossed using Versamark pen and Recollections gold powder
tree star: Lawn Fawn snowflake die; SU oval die
Cuttlebug Swiss dot embossing folder
adhesives: Scotch ATG; foam backing; Zig 2-way pen

Hope you'll visit us at Sparkles Christmas to see the amazing cards made by the other Sparkles gals, including new DTers Cheryl and Lynne. You'll see they used lots of creative folds on their cards. Very pretty, very creative! Then stop back by and link up a card/project of your own. We'd love to see your multi-fold creations!

  1. Love your folded tree Sybrina, might have to give it a try - it looks great! Have a good month, love Jacky x

  2. Now that's an interpretation of the challenge that I hadn't thought of - really inspired!

  3. Wow your card is beautiful dearie. Loving all the folds on the Christmas tree. Such a great effect. Hugs xxx

  4. Love this card Sybrina! I have tried this technique several times but have never gotten it to look right. Love how yours turned out and those papers are fabulous!

  5. Sybrina, what a lovely little tree and it looks perfect in the oval cut out. Perfect folds showcasing more than one fold. Really nice job!
