W2CB #45: Logic vs. Imagination

Hi, everyone! It's the second Wednesday of the month... which means it's time for a new Words 2 Craft By Challenge.

This month's words come to us from Albert Einstein. Well, maybe. It's a quote often attributed to him, but it's definitive origin is unknown.

Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.

For my card, I wanted to play along with rainbow colors peeking through a no-fill absolute alphabet stamp set. Thanks to the Rainbow Maker OCC for lots of rainbow inspiration and to friend Mary Anne for giving this fun set to me. (I just love it when Mary Anne cleans out her stash. She always has the best toys.)

Strathmore watercolor; Neenah Soler white; Stampin' Up! gray; MFT dp
CMTH alphabet set, stamped in Versamark onyx black
inking: smooshed Distress Inks; computer-generated original sentiment
MFT free-with-order dies; Pretty Pink Posh sequins
adhesives: Scotch ATG; foam backing; Ranger multi medium matte

So, how will these words inspire you? Maybe the logic portion of the quote will inspire school-themed card. Or, maybe you'll be inspired by the imagination part.

Whatever the inspiration, we'd love for you to share your creation with us at W2CB. Keep in mind we are an equal-opportunity-craft challenge blog... meaning you aren't restricted to cards. Moreover, don't forget there's a $10 prize to the e-tailer of your choice to our winning crafter.

Ready, Set, Create! See you in the W2CB Gallery.
