ho ho ho

Hi, everyone!

How's your Christmas stash of Santas? How many do you have? Turns out I don't have very many... a few on some dp, but no stamps, no digis. How can that be? As Elaine on Seinfeld would say, "Oh, it be."

So, I made a paper-pieced Jolly Old Nick to play along with the current Jingle Belles Santa Claus Is Coming to Town Challenge. And, while I was at it, I made a little background paper to go with him.  :)

Stampin' Up! grays and white cardstock; Distress Ink fired brick and spun sugar
SU owl builder, Santa hat, and cupcake punches
Spellbinders circle and scallop dies; Paper Smooches mustache die
nose, mouth, and cheeks inked in Distress fired brick, applied with Ranger blending tool
SU baker's twine; googlie eyes
adhesives: Scotch ATG; Zots glue dots

Think I'll also share this at the CAS-ual Fridays Christmas in July Challenge. It may not win any awards, but I think this little Santa is going to bring a big smile to a little patient at Nationwide Children's when I tuck him into the SAS4Kids holiday card shipment.

Have a great week! And, thanks for stopping... happy scrappin'!
